At Hilden Lodge we are also pleased to offer delicious, homemade evening meals, which are freshly prepared by our manager, Melissa Robinson.
Melissa was born in the Philippines and has been a chef most of her life, working in the family restaurant for many years training as a chef before venturing to Hong Kong where she worked in a 120 cover Mediterranean Restaurant as Head Chef before coming to the UK and owning her own bistro in the North West for a few years. After that she worked with her partner Wayne in the hotel and bar industry offering excellent service and freshly prepared food. Her claim to fame is her Tipsy Pudding, which was the favourite dessert on the menu in Hong Kong, and we don't think you will find another dessert quite like it!!

"What has to be the hidden gem is eating at Hilden Lodge in the evening. Melissa (joint manager) is an amazing cook/chef. We opted to eat in for two of the evenings and were not disappointed. Again, everything was cooked to order and so attractively presented. It all tasted good too. Added to this, it was a pleasant 25 minute walk into the town centre.We would most certainly stay there again." (TripAdvisor April 2012)
We offer FREE CANCELLATION up until 12 noon, 72 hours prior to date of arrival. Our rates are per room, per night and are inclusive of Full English Breakfast and VAT, at the current rate. Rates are effective from 1st January 2012 until further notice and are subject to change, at any time.
